Overview
We service both electric and gas cooktops — including standalone units, slide-ins, and built-in ranges. Most failures involve ignition systems, power delivery, or element control.
Diagnostics are performed live under load, with full disassembly of burner modules if needed.
Common Issues We Repair
- One or more burners won’t heat
- Burner clicks but doesn’t ignite
- Burner stuck on high or low only
- Indicator lights or display not working
- Electrical smell or arcing under glass
- Broken knobs, dials, or touch controls
- Gas smell near surface burners
- Cracked glass or uneven heat zones
What We Test
Gas Cooktops:
- Spark ignition module
- Burner cap alignment and grounding
- Gas valve and solenoid function
- Safety shutoff and thermocouple response
- Leak test and flame pattern check
Electric Cooktops:
- Radiant or coil element resistance
- Infinite switch or touch sensor output
- Surface indicator logic
- Relay board signal and voltage delivery
- Glass top insulation and mounting
Brands We Commonly Service
GE, Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire, Samsung, LG, Viking, Thermador, KitchenAid, Wolf.
Notes
- For glass-top units, we test only on level surface
- Gas units require access to shutoff valve
- Power (240V or 120V) must be available at time of test
Ignition issues or dead burners? We’ll isolate the fault and get the cooktop fully operational — gas or electric.
